- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All sessions are approximately 1 hour in length, but I will stay until all questions have been answered. Individual sessions: $50 for one dog, $75 for 2 dogs 6 session package: $250 for one dog, $375 for 2 dogs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly we focus on basic obedience; sit, stay, come when called, loose leash walking, greeting new dogs and people, leave it, drop it. However, we do also focus on the root cause of the behavioral issue and work on the underlying cause, as well as modifying the negative behavior.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask about training methods, such as... Do you use positive reinforcement? Yes! I use verbal, tactile and physical rewards (treats) to reward positive behaviors. Do you use negative reinforcement? No, but I will use different training tools such as a head halter and verbal correctors to modify a negative behavior. How often should I train? As often as possible! Use every opportunity to train your pup, and not only will you see positive results sooner, but you will also get into the habit of training and staying consistent with training by doing so.
