Old World Finishing completely transformed our outdated bedroom furniture. We were initially considering selling our wood bedroom set, but after meeting with the company I decided to hire them. They completed the custom painting pricess and the furniture looks entirely renewed. The attention to detail and traditional craftsmanship brought new life to the furniture. I asked Sam at Old World Finishing,Inc., to come to my home and look at an old wooden rocking chair I have had for about 50 yrs. It had fallen into disrepair and I asked for an estimate to recondition it. He was very honest in evaluating the value of the chair, and I wanted it fixed up anyway. Try his man is an expert in old finishes and repair techniques. He knew what types of materials were used in the original rocking chair and just what he would need to restore it to be better than new. Not only was the chair completely disassembled and all old glue and finishing stripped down, but the caning in the old seat was completely removed. All finishes were restored to a wonderful color and shine, the new caning in the chair seat is strong and beautiful. Now my old rocking chair is strong, beautiful to look at, and very comfortable to sit in. I never met a furniture repair and refinishing expert who knows so much about his art and craft as Sam, the company Proprietor. His work is as fine as it gets. I highly recommend Old World Finishing to anyone who seeks the finest workmanship anywhere.
