Hired on Thumbtack

Mr. Buha, was hired to remove interior shutters off of four windows for new window installation, he said he asked me if the molding/frame for the shutters to be removed, I don’t remember that being asked, however he is the professional for windows. He should have known that that would have been part of the removal for a brand new window installation at the time of the new window installation, the window installers had to remove the molding/frame for the shutters that he did not take down. This is his profession. He should know that that is a part of the removal for the instructions that was giving there should not have to be a question if they had to be removed he should’ve known that so I give him a negative Star and he charge way over the price of what it should have been. When you treat people right and they see the goodness in your heart you may find yourself having a long time Customer, but when you take advantage of elderly people for your gratification, and then come, enter their home, speaking in your foreign time, which is very disrespectful. Be careful if you’re elderly, and if you’re black, I believe some of his judgment on what he was doing and after he seen the actual work that it should have been a negotiation on the price however I deleted him and got a new contractor who gave me an invoice exactly on what he was gonna do and also because of the new contractors professionalism I hire him also to do some painting and other odd jobs around my home. A relationship has been established with that person to always be working in this home hopefully. beware and this is for you, Mr. Buha what goes around comes around.
