- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the job which is determined by the specific details of each project as well as the accessibility to work surfaces.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1: Briefly discuss the project over the phone. If customer wants a ball park price they can send me pictures. If customer is ready to start project and wants a detailed estimate I will schedule a in home consultation at the residence that needs painting. Step 2: Meet with customer at their property and see the work areas in person and discuss paint colors, project timelines, and product options suitable for their project needs. Step 3: For small projects I will give them an instant estimate as well as a written estimate within 24 hrs if they want to proceed. Larger estimates I will work on when I return to the office and send them via email or text depending on the customers preference. 4: Upon accepting the estimate the customer and I will mutually agree to the project start date and also set a tentative completion date. Contingent on weather for exterior projects. 5. Deposit: Once I receive the deposit or a signed estimate I will add the project to my calendar. 6. I will than carry out the work as agreed upon on the scheduled days and complete the project within the time. After completion I will walk the property with the customer where work was completed and verify the customer is happy. 7. After the customer is happy I will request the remaining balance as well as a review for the work performed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Lead Abatement Supervisor RRP Over 15 years experience painting for Wark Painting in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee and Florida. This is only relevant due to the different types of structures, and weather elements that require different applications and coatings. 2 years experience painting at industrial facilities, as well as painting for cabinet shops and a company that makes steel electrical enclosures.
