Before we hired Matt, we hired handymen from a franchise. One of the men charged us for time he did not work. Although the franchise adjusted the charges the following day with the second handyman, we decided not to continue with them. Here's what we're learning about Matt: 1. Matt wants to work and loves helping people. 2. He desires to do the job right. In some cases, he offers two levels of workmanship; the first, we're satisfied, the second, he's satisfied. 3. Unlike the two men from the franchise, Matt cleans up after himself in a manner that no one would know he was there. 4. He's polite and respectful. 5. He goes above and beyond what's required of him. 6. We've run projects by Matt that we're struggling with for advice. He offers suggestions or will even take on the job himself. Overall, we thank God for Matt. We're looking forward to recommending him to our friends and family.

Matt was great! He was able to schedule me quickly and showed up for the job promptly! He was fast, and did a great job. He put together a desk, office chair, and a bookcase for me that I hired him for, and then when he was finished with those he asked if there was anything else I needed help with, and I actually did, so he framed and hung a 20x40 canvas picture for me too. I have a list of things I’m having him come back for too. It’s usually hit or miss when you hire someone to do something for you. I was thrilled with Matt and his work, I’ll hire him again and again! I recommend him to anyone who needs a handyman, hire him! You won’t be disappointed. 😃

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to quote by hour instead of job due to so many unforeseen possible setbacks or hurdles. I'm not opposed to quote by build, but this thumbtack services makes it tricky to quote accurately.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Fully understanding the needs of the work done, to ensure the job can be completed in as little visits possible. I aim to keep all of my work to single day jobs.
