- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $25 per hour for standard language instruction. If two or more people with similar abilities combine for a class, a discount is available in the hourly rate. Written translation is $50 per page. Other services include editing and interpreting for which prices are between $30 and $50 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a quote, a followup inquiry and if the client is still interested, an initial face to face meeting to discuss the goals of the process, meeting frequency and financial arrangements.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA and 2 Masters Degrees in Education. In addition, I have a certificate in Advanced Spanish language study in San Jose, Costa Rica. I lived in Seville, Spain for 10 years as well as Venezuela and Costa Rica, in addition to traveling to numerous Hispanic countries such as Cuba, Ecuador, Honduras, and Mexico.
