Please note: I DO NOT DO MAKEUP but am happy to provide recommendations for great artists upon booking. I do provide fantastic hairdos at a very reasonable price, in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. I listen to my clients and we work together to create a one of a kind look. My work is mobile, and I often go to my client's space to do their hair. Brides especially tend to love this because they can get ready in the space of their choosing, surrounded by the people they love. It tends to make their day more relaxed and comfortable.

Karina was AMAZING to work with! She was very professional and responsive. She totally took some of the stress out of our big day by coming to do our hair at the venue. Holy Smokes what a fun experience! Everything about Studio-K was unbelievable. Karina wanted our experience to be everything we hoped for and boy was it :) We booked with Studio K for my best friends wedding. She set up a run through with the bride to ensure her final result for the wedding was perfect, she worked with the bridesmaids and the mothers too on what exactly we were looking for. Not only did our hair look amazing (and last all night long) but we had so much fun with Karina. She’s such a genuine person and fit right in with the bridal party! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Bridal package - $175 Includes pre-trial, consult, the updo on the day of the wedding, coordination of any updos for the wedding party, and up to 20 miles of travel to the prep site.
Wedding parties - bridesmaids $80 and flower girls/junior bridesmaids start at $65 (must be 12 and under).
Standard updos - $80.
Prom/dance Prep Parties
I am willing to travel to your event if requested. Mileage fee is $1.75 per mile.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer talking with people on the phone, so as soon as a customer has questions or would like to move forward, I encourage them to give me a call. And don't worry - just because you talk to me on the phone does not obligate you to hire me! We'll go forward if and when you are ready.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Because I neither cut nor color, it's not necessary to have a license. Instead, I have experience - lots and lots of it! I'm creative, I listen to my clients, and I love working with people - all necessities for fantastic updos! At this point, I’ve worked with all kinds of hair for many kinds of events, and I enjoy the challenges and opportunities.
