- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's not complicated, but I do need to see the project to bid on it. This keeps my price fair for both the customer and me. I usually will research and compare my pricing with others to stay with the current pricing to be comparable or less than others to pass the saving to the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, as a licensed contractor we are required to do yearly continuing education to ensure we are code compliant and safe.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was a kid, my mother liked to have her house remodeled, I would watch my dad or the hired contractor and was intrigued by what he was doing.
