My laptop PC had an issue, where it repeatedly crashed when trying to update software and would fail soon after booting. Derrick contacted me within a week of my purchase of a $75 Angie's list coupon, for 2hrs of on site service. We set up a date and on the day he called to let me know he was running behind and and then he arrived on the agreed upon time for the appointment. He loaded test software onto my PC and ran diagnostics. It appeared that I had some registry errors and my Anti virus software was causing the issue. He uninstalled the software and began the download of the Program Kaspersky 2.0, again. This download was going to take 4hrs so he recommended purchasing the Diagnostic and repair software so I could run it myself after my anti virus software was installed. He also recommended another Antivirus package. I purchased the fixit software from him for $40.00. After he left my AV SW completed downloading and I reinstalled it. I ran the fixit software and all seemed well. Then later that day the AV was completing an definition update and the PC crashed again. I decided that I would go with Derricks recommendation and download the anti virus Webroot software and get rid of Kespersky 2.0 completely. I did this and again everything appeared to be OK. Derrick followed up via email and phone to see if everything was OK with my system. A few days later I was using my PC and it crashed again. I let Derrick know via email and he let laid out the options and follow up costs that would be incurred. I reran the diagnostic and fixit program and this time it found bad sectors on my hard drive. It repaired them and since then I have not seen any issues.

We will speak in laymen terms and do our very best to explain as much or as little as you wish. We offer a 3 month warranty (twice as long as most companies) on all of our repairs so you can be sure that if you have any issues that you will not be left on you own. All repairs, upgrades and system builds are done here in Minnesota, so unlike some of the big national companies we will not send your PC hundreds of miles away to a central work shop; you can speak directly to the person working on your job. When you book a job in with us, you will be given a job ID number to track your repair by simply emailing or calling us for an update. We will also automatically update you via phone, email or text as your job progresses. We keep a record of all the work carried out and this enables both us and our customers to be able to recall any details up about past jobs.. What I like most about my job is that I'm good at it and I take great pride in that. I'm sure most people would say this about anything they are good at. The #1 reason is because I like to see a smile on someone's face when their computer is working the way it should be and I could be a part of that and making their day a little bit easier and it's one less thing they have to worry about in the midst of all the other daily activities or issue that may come up. Of course at a very reasonable price!! Have a Great Day and don't sweat the little things in life because you deserve the best that life has to offer. Derrick

    Q & A

    • What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of the jobs we do for our customers are Virus/Spyware removal,Troubleshooting/Repairing any hardware/software issues on desktop or laptops. We also setup a lot of home or business wireless/Lan networks and configuring the Security on them. Please check out our website for other services that we offer as well. Thank you.
    • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask the technician what training they have, what prior education in the computer field they have and what certifications they have. Ask how long the technician has been working in this field. Does the technician have there own tools and programs. Get references from the technician that you as a customer can call and check the performance and quality of the technicians work. Ask how and how much the technician charges for each job, and if parts are an extra charge. Inquire if the technician will tavel, how far and how much they charge for each mile traveled. Also ask the minimum charge for each job requested. And with all this information you should be able to come to a fair understanding of what the technician is capable of and come to a fair payment.
