FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of my prices and packages are on my website, but if there is not one that seems to fit I am open and willing to talk about different options not listed on my site. A rough estimate of my prices would be about $100 a photo, or about $25 an hour for shooting time. If a client refers someone, the referred may receive a discount or special offer the next time they book with me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get in contact with a client and offer to meet with them in person at a time and place that works for them. During this meeting, we will go over prices, packages, dates, possible deals, expectations, and my contract and photo release form. Every client will sign a basic photo contract before the shoot, and will receive a photo release form at the time of receiving their photos. The client may wish to receive their photos in whatever form fits for them, however a small fee may apply for hard or disk copies of the session. If the client chooses to use me as their photographer, I ask for a deposit of $50 which will go towards the final price of the session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have not had very much formal training in photography besides a class in high school, but I have had my camera for well over 4 years now and have done lots of research regarding photography techniques and put them to the test in real live sessions and shoots.
