- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am learning every day. I take continuing education classes that are required to maintain my contractors license. I read remodeling magazines and books along with watching This Old House, HGTV and the DIY network. I also spend countless hours attending the spring and fall Parade of Homes looking at hundreds of homes for new ideas.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was 10 years old I helped my dad finish our basement and loved it. I also took a drafting class in 7th grade and was hooked.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I finish basements. That involves all aspects of design and construction. We can replace or add windows and doors or move load bearing walls. We also upgrade rooms upstairs with new cabinets, granite, light fixtures, paint, ceramic and flooring.
