Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I believe my team of craftsmen who have been with me for 10-25 years do a great job. The fit and finish is stellar. But what makes us stand out is that we really do care about the client and their experience. We are building a relationship and having an impact on the family. I enjoy the creative aspect using different materials and meeting new friends.

Hired on Thumbtack

Hired on Thumbtack

Contractor came to our home and looked at our basement, it is a re-finish our ~ 1500 sqft basement. When he arrived stated the job is smaller than he thought and looked around. He looked all over the main floor also, which we thought was strange, and was picking the construction details of the house apart. We felt like we live in a 5,000 sqft crappy house by the time he left, but chalked it up to him particular, which maybe was good thing. Followed up after the bid and he stated that Thumbtack notified him (not sure how) that we selected a contractor so he threw all of our stuff in the garbage. I told him that was not the case and still would like the numbers. He did not respond again. We are left with no numbers and a complete waste of time for his visit.

Details: No, I will not be adding structural or weight-bearing features to my basement • Yes, I will be modifying or adding living space to my basement • Yes, my basement finishing or remodeling project will require electrical or plumbing work • Already have plans - just need installation • Residential

Edvenson Homes - We Finish Basements's reply
I apologize to John and his family for the less than perfect experience. I did visit his house to look at the project We talked for just over an hour and gathered all the needed info to put a proposal together. About 6 days later I recieved a notice from Thumbtack that John had hired a contractor. I took all the info and recycled it. For me the job was over. A few days later John contacted me asking for the proposal. I explained what had happened and wished him well with the project. He did contact me again asking if I was still interested. I did not respond and I am sorry for not doing so.
