- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Photography pricing is very straight forward. It is $250 a session and that includes everything (Engagement photos, family photos, graduation photos, maternity, children…). General turn around on photos is 7-14 days. Roughly speaking, animation is $1000/second for the first 15 seconds. 3D model pricing depends on complexity. Most 3D models are less than $1000. Videography pricing depends on how long it takes to capture the footage and create the film. Most all events are less than $1000. Corporate videos or product videos that require both real world and animation footage range between $2000 and $5000 depending on how much animation is required.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After I quote a project, I wait for the customer to respond. Then we setup a phone call or a coffee, write down all the work that is required and sign a contract. Half of the project amount is due when we sign the contract. When I deliver the product, the second half of the project amount is due.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in this line of work by just filming my own life events. Then I started making projects for school. After that I started making projects for work. Now I’m making projects for you.
