Steve arrived right on schedule. He did a terrific job shampooing our carpet! No small job given we live on the 3rd floor of an apartment building without street access. This was our first experience with a portable cleaner versus a truck mounted unit. Steve exceeded our expectations!Apr 20, 2017Verified
Steve was great to work with - his vast experience with carpet and carpet maintenance helped remove spots left by other well-known carpet cleaning companies. His pricing was fair and he was respectful of our home. We will hire Steve in the future!Jul 25, 2016Verified
Steve got to my hose on time. He explained in details what he was going to do. Steve did an excellent job cleaning two carpets and two stairs. The products he used didn't smell chemical. The house smelled clean and fresh. The price was fair, as I expected. I am happy with the results!May 28, 2016Verified
Steve at Cleanerup has the integrity, knowledge and professionalism that you want in a person who comes into your home and execute a great service. His extensive background in carpet cleaning and spot removal is beyond what other types of corporate carpet cleaners guess at. He is a small business man who approaches each job by understanding the basics of the carpet make up and counsel his customer on the best approach to the solution. I have a Berber carpet that needs cleaning twice a year and own a cat, I wouldn't hire anyone else to take care of my carpets in my home.Aug 21, 2015
I was referred to Steve by a friend and it was a very enlightening experience. He was able to remove several stains that 3 other carpet cleaners weren't able to get out. He was very knowledgable and passionate about what he does.Aug 20, 2015
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It’s very simple, just 30¢ cents per square foot. Less than 450 sq ft is a $110.00 minimum. It gets complicated if we’re not moving beds. We don't charge for hallways and walk-in closets! To figure sq ft is easy. Length multiplied by Width. If your room is 13 feet by 10 feet that is 10 x 13 = 130 sq ft. (If you don’t have a tape measure, use your feet by stepping one foot exactly in front of the other!) 130 x $.30 = $39.00 for that room.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to get as much info as I can, because then I can give a more accurate price. Also, it helps to know what kind of stains we’re removing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I’m a IICRC master with advanced carpet cleaning, odor, stain removal, water restoration as my advanced training. I go to at least two three classes a year. I usually pick stain removal classes and odor removal to stay on top of what's new and improved in the industry. I'm working on becoming an instructor to teach new carpet cleaners proper procedures. I also do inspections for manufactures on new carpet warranties to resolve problems primarily created by untrained carpet cleaners.
