I want to thank you, I'm really very happy with how the deck turned out, I think the stain dried beautifully, I know it's not perfect and there's some solid stain coming through (not your fault at all) i think it gives it interest. I'm very pleased

Upon our first meeting with Alex we immediately knew he was the right person for our project.Alex was quick to respond and to set up an appointment to discuss the project. He was straightforward about what needed to be done and actually discouraged work that he didn't think was necessary. His quote came quickly and was fair. He arranged and helped secure the materials and when inferior quality materials arrived Alex took it upon himself to return the wood and inspect replacements.Alex deconstructed and rebuilt an entire deck staircase and replaced failing posts on the screened porch. As the project progressed and we noticed other areas were failing, Alex took it in stride, let us know the additional cost and continued to provide beautiful work.His craftsmanship is amazing! He takes such pride in his craft and goes the extra mile because it's the right thing to do. Our project turned out beautifully. One would never know the staircase and replaced porch supports were not original - everything looks seamless.Most of this work was done while we were in and out of town caring for an elderly parent but we had complete trust in Alex - which took so much stress off of us.At the final walk through Alex pointed out two areas under the deck where he took it upon himself to add additional bracing for safety reasons. We were just amazed, grateful and thankful that we worked with Alex on this project.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meeting with the homeowner, we listen to the client's needs/wishes & providing firm estimate for project completion.
We know what is new and desirable today and can recommend certain things which will increase the value of the property & minimize remodeling costs.
Once the homeowner decides to move forward with the project, we meet a second time to discuss details & when everything is satisfactory to both sides, apply for building permit.
(Usually it takes about two weeks for the city to issue a building permit and review the plans)
We starting construction on scheduled date & supervise every step of the project & inform homeowner if any issues arise or further suggestions to make the project run smoother, save the client money, or the improve property value.
