Wendy B. says, "Wow, were we every lucky to cross paths with Alex and crew. We live in a vintage home which always presents challenges. This time some exterior trim needed attention. Of course the trim is no longer available at standard lumber sources so it has to be made to match. They sanded, matched, and painted the trim along our second story. Even took the time to inspect the rest of the trim and found some areas that needed attention as not to cause future problems. It looks impeccable! Since they had a tall ladder with them, I asked if they would clean out the gutters. I don’t think they were this clean even the day they were installed. When they finished for the day, we talked about some future projects we have wanted to complete, but lacked the skills. They will be coming back to tackle the next projects soon. Alex is a great communicator, everything is spelled out clearly so we both have the same expectations. See you soon Alex!"See more

Contractor came to our home and looked at our basement, it is a re-finish our ~ 1500 sqft basement. When he arrived stated the job is smaller than he thought and looked around. He looked all over the main floor also, which we thought was strange, and was picking the construction details of the house apart. We felt like we live in a 5,000 sqft crappy house by the time he left, but chalked it up to him particular, which maybe was good thing. Followed up after the bid and he stated that Thumbtack notified him (not sure how) that we selected a contractor so he threw all of our stuff in the garbage. I told him that was not the case and still would like the numbers. He did not respond again. We are left with no numbers and a complete waste of time for his visit.
