We picked several location options, including driving up to Duluth/North Shore. Looking at the photographs make me feel I am experiencing a favorite date all over again. Joseph did a great job taking pictures for our engagement! He hid in the spot I requested, was 15 minutes early, and got amazing candid shots of my fiancé. Michelle Forcier did our engagement photography session at Elm Creek park. We purchased the 30-minute mini session, but Michelle and Robert went above and beyond to make sure we were able to take all the different shots we wanted.
In addition to taking extra time to make sure we were happy with the variety of photos and different shots, the day we did our session was REALLY cold--it was probably 15 degrees out! Despite the cold, and knowing everyone was feeling it, we never once felt rushed.
We were a little worried that with the frigid weather, we would LOOK cold. Actually, our photos turned out much better than we even hoped. Michelle was able to capture our personalities and her photos show who we truly are.
Michelle and Robert really went above and beyond, and exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful for their terrific work, and that we were able to find them through Thumbtack. We highly recommend Michelle Forcier Photography!

My Fiancé and I got our engagement photos done by Jake and he by far exceeded our expectations. Coming from a couple who doesn’t take many pictures together, he made us feel very comfortable. He was prepared with the location we picked out and had very good ideas where to go and what poses we should do. Jake was very fast at getting our pictures back to us and we’ve got nothing but extremely good compliments on them. We sat down with him because we decided to book him as our wedding photographer as well (of course). He is very organized and asked many questions to make sure our day will be perfect. He shows that he truly cares about what he does and focuses on what is best for the couple. We are so excited we found him and that he will be there on our wedding day. If you want a professional, creative, and passionate photographer, look no further….pick Jake!!!

My fiance and I hired Alexandre for our engagement photographs. From our initial contact to the day of shooting he was nothing but courteous, communicative, and responsive to us and our requests. We had an initial conversation to discuss our ideas about the shoot and he took the time to listen and learn about what was important to us. This was entirely evidenced by the final product. His pictures are very "us" and turned out beyond our expectations in perfectly capturing our life and relationship.
The day of, we had a great time. Alexandre made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. He was a perfect balance of hands off, but also supportive in providing feedback and suggestions for shots. We really appreciated this about his style of photography. He was extremely prepared and had obviously done alot of pre-work in researching good locations around the area we had suggested. He took the time to get a wide variety and strong quality of pictures. And we really appreciated not feeling rushed or held to a strict time-constraint. The whole process felt very organic.
I cannot recommend Alexandre more highly. He is a true artist and we are very thankful for his time and professionalism.
