Introduction: The Lyndale Tap House enables an eclectic selection of craft beers with great food pairings and fun entertainment for your events. The Lyndale offers all three with gourmet specials that change every week — chipotle braised Beef Short Ribs that come paired with asparagus and roasted baby potatoes or cherry wood smoked Pulled Pork braised in tomatillo barbecue sauce and a to die for Bread Pudding. We specialize in traditional American barbecue, Mexican / Latin and Indian for our event caterings. We can host your corporate or private events at the Tap house or we can cater your handpicked cuisine with our Chef to your door. We can offer servers to help you with your event and can also help arrange local musicians to perform in your event either at the Taphouse or at your location. Our food is exemplary and our catering menu is diverse. Talk to us on what you need and we will custom make a menu for you.

The "new manager" came over unannounced, didnt say who he was but pushed the specials which were very different from the menu (pacific fusions, adobo, Baja cod tacos) when theyre supposedly known for American classics and pit beef/pork with craft beers which was why we wanted to try it. Then the manager guy sits at the table next to us with two other guys listening to us the whole time. It was very uncomfortable. At the end the waitress said they wouldn't honor our Groupon (expires in April) that they didn't even have an account with Groupon and they should've emailed me. When I said that was unacceptable, manager guy comes to us again, finally saying he's the manager, and that he will honor it this one time but "don't expect credit from Groupon." EXCUSE ME?? Horrible managerial skills, if any, complete disregard for professionalism even if it is a casual tap house. Walleye fingers disgraced the fish, burger was underdone. I hope this place goes under and the real estate goes to someone who will do justice to the Uptown food scene.

Hello Emily - We apologize for your bad experience. The Groupon was not valid (not issued by us), but we honored it. We only pointed out our weekly specials like we do with all customers - I don't think anyone was pushing you on that. Yes, the new chef is trying few smoked meats and as far as our menu goes, its comprehensive with a lot of selections but does not undercut the core offerings. If as you say the manager was seated on another table close by entertaining other guests does not mean he is listening to your conversation. He did see your friend had returned the beef as being rare vs being medium and he went to inquire from the kitchen. On looking at the patty, it was medium as one would normally expect but I understand that medium for one is not viewed same by all. We take our customers feedback seriously and redid the order to make it more well done than before. As far as the manager remembers, you seemed happy and shook his hands and thanked him for his service. If after all this, you do leave a bad review and curse us, it is a bit unfortunate for we take great pride in delighting our customers.
