Good communication, timely, and great electrical work. Had Jim install + wire an in wall heater in the back entry way of my house. Jim is a friendly guy.

I highly recommend Jim Levoir and his company, TOTAL ELECTRIC. He went the extra mile. What a difference it makes to have a professional doing the work! He was honest, factual in explaining the problem, plus he worked hard and got it completed within the time frame and cost he had in the quote. He did a great job,

I was able to help by installing a new electric dryer outlet (240 volt, 30 amp). When testing the dryer I found the vent pipe to be clogged up and reported same to the homeowner so it could be cleaned out (electric dryers are very expensive to run when the air flow is impeded by lint).

Had to have my electrical panel replaced. Called around for some pricing. Most of the "bigger" name places wouldn't even give me a ball park figure and wanted me to pay them to give me a quote (essentially). Decided to use thumbtack (though I was a bit wary, having never heard of the website.) Jim got in touch with me right away. Had me send him some pictures and spoke with him on the phone. His quote was nearly 50 percent lower then what the other companies had quoted me. Jim was super professional and friendly. He was on time, clean, and very communicative. I would highly recommend him (as would others, see his other great reviews...)

Thank you for the kind words. We replaced an older Square D split buss panel (it gives the impression that it is a 50 amp panel) with a new Siemens 100 amp panel to facilitate selling of the home.

Jim replaced the outdated circuit breaker in my house with a new one. He was polite wonderful to work with from start to finish. He was able to provide me with different breaker options and explained the price/product differences since I had no idea what I needed. I would highly recommend him to anyone and have already passed his contact information on to friends who have mentioned needed electrical work done.
Total Electric's reply
We replaced an FPE panel for this homeowner. As many know, FPE lost there UL rating several decades ago. Replacement breakers have been manufactured by several company's over the years but there aren't any AFCI breakers to be had. I recommend replacing it with a modern panel (ITE is my favorite).
