FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$65 hourly fee for consulting services. The best part about using me as your designer is that if you decide to use contractors and buy materials through my company, I do not charge hourly. I get a discount on materials and services as a designer and you pay retail/current value for contracting services and materials, meaning you are paying the same amount whether you hire a designer or not, but I am doing all the work for you! I'll chase around, while you lounge!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
What you can expect in my home staging service: area of expertise goes further than just rearranging furniture and adding accent pieces, including home renovation projects, bringing your house up to code to pass inspection the first time, curb appeal, light fixtures and the details such as hardware. Recently I have been focusing on home renovations encompassing the entire home, yet focusing mostly on kitchens and bathrooms. Being a growing family of four I know how important and the significant amount of time is spent in your home's kitchen and bath, so those heart of the home rooms need to work hard for YOU, rather than the other way around.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school and Minnesota State University, Mankato for Project Management with an emphasis in Interior Design in 2003. Having been in the business for over ten years, my love for interior design has grown from home staging to full service interior and landscaping design. I have a team of professionals who assist me in forming a plan of how to most wisely use resources, whether it be to improve your existing home or to put your best home on the market the first time!
