FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A wedding with 200 to 400 guest needs to have two mixologist. Some venues may need a portable bar and some host may not want a tip jar. Those issues in conjunction with proximity makes it impossible to give "standard" price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am contacted by the customer via phone or email. We finalize details of the service to be provided. I respond with my standard contract for the event. The customer signs, scans and emails or faxes the contract back. If a portable bar is required a deposit will be required. I will send a confirmation email one month and two weeks before the event. I will call to confirm final logistics the week of the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bartending is a skill that is honed behind a bar and learned from experienced bartenders. I currently work with a group of bartenders that have close 100 years of collective experience. I read and study constantly and I practice mixology techniques and recipes on a regular basis. I went to bartending school also but that barely gave me the basics.
