Walt and team did an excellent job restoring my 1940s oak dinning set. I was hesitant to restore the set as I wasn't sure it would be worth the cost to restore however, it now looks better than new. The customer service was excellent (very professional, they did what they said they would do, and they kept me informed along the way). I would highly recommend using them if you have furniture restoring/refinishing needs.Aug 25, 2016Verified
Reupholster 6 Teak Dining Chairs (Seats & Backs). Tighten @ glue all joints. Refinish wood, replace missing dowels. Job was outstanding! Furniture looks new.Dec 11, 2015Verified
Very expensive but overall work does look good. Could have purchased a new table for the price of his repair. Final price was $300 higher than initial estimate. Table leg was damaged when returning the table to us. Owner was hesitant to claim responsibility even though the damage was obviously related to the work being done. He offered to refinish other dining room pieces for us at prices so high I literally laughed out loud. My wife was not impressed with the criticism received by the owner on the cleanliness of our house nor him coming into our house just after a simple knock on the door.May 24, 2019VerifiedBlessing Campbell's reply
We are sorry that Mr Hanson feels this way, and we surely would never act in the manner described. I have also confronted my staff to make sure that our customer relation policies are followed, and I will implement more strict reliance rules as needed.
They did a great job on refinishing our table and chairs. Kept us informed on the progress and also sent pictures so we could approve or make changes before the final product was completeAug 8, 2018Verified
Walt knows his furniture! Beautiful results. As always, most of us want fast results; quality takes time, so be prepared to have this process take a bit of time, depending on the scope of your project. But it's worth a bit of a wait. No need to buy new pieces when Walt and his crew do such a good job; delivery included, and he takes time to advise and consult with you about the color, finish, and best way to make your wood look it's best. Thanks, Walt!Aug 14, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing is always done on a per job basis, and is determined by many factors. These are always explained to the customer during the quote appointment. The are standards that we follow, but the jobs vary so widely that it would be impossible,to set standard pricing guidelines.BE ADVISED THAT WE MUST SEE YOUR PROJECT BEFORE WE CAN ACCURATELY QUOTE IT FOR YOU. UNFORTUNATELY WE CANNOT PROVIDE PRICING THRU SOCIAL MEDIA OR EMAIL
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We first must see and discuss the project with the customer, and determine what is expected as an outcome. We than put the project in our system and print out an itemized estimate that must be signed by the customer. This is sent to the customer by mail. Once all is agreed and signed we schedule a pickup date and time. The customer will recieve an invoice that may or may not require a deposit. We will complete the work and may require color approvals. Than we will schedule a delivery date and time. Depending on your address, there may be a small fuel charge on your invoice this is determined by our computer software when your invoice information is entered.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?40 years working in the shop.... Owned this company for 25 years
