Introduction: My approach to graphic design utilizes my diverse skill-set to create solutions that often have a mixed-media or handmade aesthetic. I think it is refreshing to produce digital designs that embrace a human element.
I appreciate the relationships I build with my clients. I enjoy the challenge of collaboration, especially when I am working with a client that is not fluent in design vocabulary or standards and I am able to guide them through the creative process.
I specialize in brand identity, from brand consultation, logo design, package design, social media strategy, custom branded collateral materials, and Squarespace content creation. I also do hand-lettered invitation designs, illustration, and infographic design.

Alida Carlson is a fantastic graphic designer to work with. In the beginning stages of building my brand BlackGirlInOm, I needed graphic designers who could quickly understand my vision and manifest that vision visually and clearly.
