Introduction: I take the time to find out about my client's goals and the purpose of the design such as increasing sales, announcing a new product or business launch. I enjoy the process of taking an idea and bringing it to life in the form of websites, email templates, presentations, logos, brochures and more! Dawn designed two print pieces for the Minnesota Streetcar Museum. We needed one piece to be a comprehensive intro and overview of our museum, operations, and out collection of historic streetcars. We planned to use this piece for several years. The second piece would contain the year's schedule for each of our two sites. Dawn quickly created the major piece, finding a perfect balance of the historic and contemporary in the design. The schedule piece restates the design theme in a simpler form and allows annual reprinting at modest costs. We've been using Dawn's design for several years and it continues to work very well for us. I've worked with many designers in my professional career; none exceeded expectations better than Dawn. She is easy to wok with, grasping the nature of our organization and our needs quickly. She consistently delivered on time and on budget.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After an initial conversation about their project, I have new customers fill out a short questionnaire to learn more details of the scope of the project, timelines, budget, and details about specific design aspect such and font and color selection.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Web and Interactive Media Degree from Minneapolis Community and Technical College. I've almost completed my BA in Studio Arts at Metropolitan State University. I've been a designer for more than 18 years as an employee and more recently the owner of my own design studio.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly with small business owners and non-profit organizations.
