FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We price projects out per job as every job demands a different set of skills or physical labor. We charge $85/hour for the first two hours of work and after that we price the job accordingly with you at a reasonable rate. We only charge for big items and necessary parts for each job. We will shop and pick up items for a $50 flat rate per job if requested. If you're really looking to budget, we come across free supplies pretty often and can help you out during these tougher times as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact us and we'll give a rough financial estimate as well as our availability via message on Thumbtack. Then we prefer a quick phone call to talk through the deets and to schedule an visual walk through (if needed) in person or by video. If you choose to hire us, we accept payments electronically to protect both parties. If you wish to provide a cash payment, a receipt will be provided. We do not encourage this option but understand that some prefer this. Please remember that estimates are just that, estimates. Every project has it's own unforeseen challenges so expect them to happen. You will need to decide what your budget is if we go over our estimated hours.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Personally I grew up on a farm watching my father fix literally everything. There wasn't anything he couldn't do and I like to believe he passed that quality on to me. I learn things quickly and if I can't figure something out, I have my own teachers that can come to the rescue :)
