Jerrie has been wonderful. She took the time to come out and meet with us and get to know the animals for about 45 minutes before the first time we hired her. We have an elderly cat and a very energetic dog with separation anxiety. We cannot have just anyone staying with her. Jerrie has been great with both of them. She has visited during the day and has also stayed with them overnight on 2 separate occasions when we went on vacation. We were able to feel relaxed when we were on vacation knowing that she was taking care of our babies. Jerrie leaves a detailed diary telling what they did each day. She also takes care of the trash, the mail, the plants, etc, which is a real bonus. She is always responsive to texts and phone calls. The other thing that I really appreciate is that she makes a point to make sure that our neighbors know she is staying over and that she has the vet information in case of emergency. Jerrieis very responsible and reliable, plus she has a way with animals that makes them feel instantly comfortable. We highly recommend her.

Melissa's vet tech. Experience made me very confident that my cat and dog would receive their medications correctly. It put my mind at ease knowing they were being well taken care of when I was away from home. I would recommend Paw-T-Time pet care 100%!

I liked that Amy was able to take me on as a client at very short notice. My cats also gravitated towards her and weren’t shy around her. I also found it reassuring that she had vet tech experience in case my older cat needed special care.

Kelly is awesome! She has been grooming my shih-poo Stitch for two years now. At first he was afraid of the groomers, but Kelly really made him feel comfortable. He loves going to see Kelly, she also clips my bunny Cadburry's nails and does a fantastic job, before Kelly he was a little terror when getting his nails trimmed, not even the vet would do it, he loves Kelly. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great groomer.

Annie is awesome. She has taken care of our cats for about 2 years, One of our cats has Graves' disease and needs a pill every day and Annie is a definite pro at getting the cat to take it. In fact she has taught me how to give the pill easily as well when we were first learning and my husband was out of town. We have sought her advice on our sick cat several times as she has previously worked in a vets office and is very knowledgeable. Annie is very reliable and does it all: feeding cats, giving pills, feeding fish, cleaning litter, bringing in mail, taking out garbage, etc. She also likes for us to text her when we return in case our flight is delayed, etc. She has our cats well being always in mind! I strongly recommend her for watching any sort of pets.

Kristin Elmquist has been helping me build strong relationships with my dogs for nearly 5 years. I adopted Dexter, a mixed breed dog, in 2008. Shortly after his adoption, we started pet obedience classes with Kristin at For the Love of Dogs. The classes were informative, as well as fun! Not only was she immensely helpful in teaching pet obedience, she was a resource for students in answering questions regarding nutrition and potty training. It was not uncommon to have several students waiting after class to ask her questions. I knew training to be a lifelong project for us and I wasn't going to be happy with a lap-dog. Kristin introduced us to the sport of dog agility. What fun we have with this sport! We have been successfully competing in agility trials for several years. My second dog, Tesla, came home in July of 2010. Tesla has been a challenging dog for several reasons. Kristin has been able to provide us with resources to get the help he so desperately needes at the time. Tesla and I completed the pet obedience classes, similar to Dexter. However, Tesla's life journey has taken a detour around agility. Even so, Kristin has been able to offer him a training alternative in canine nose work. These classes allow him to continue training and exploring his environment in a well-controlled, safe method. Kristin's help and expertise has allowed Tesla to be more successful than I would have ever imagined. As an instructor, Kristin is extremely knowledgeable. She continues expanding her repertoire of training methods. She is a strong proponent of positive reinforcement training. In her classes, she really wants you to understand why you are doing something. Simply saying, "Do this," isn't good enough. This knowledge allows her students to take their training and apply it to real life situations.

Referring to Amy as a "dog walker" is simply an inadequate description for the service Amy has provided to me, my home and my pets. While I hope my situation is a little unusual, my puppy had health issues at the time I adopted her. When the Vet and I thought the issues had passed, Amy was attuned enough to think otherwise. Amy called me at work one day and offered to take a sample to the vet. Amy was right. My dog was still quite ill. When I estimated the extra compensation for Amy's time and travel, Amy left the extra money on the counter. When I next saw Amy, I'll never forget the look I got. While an astute enough business person, Amy's fundamental concern is clearly for the welfare of those in her charge-- and I include myself some days. She's taken in my deliveries, shut off devices I've left on and is beyond simply trustworthy and reliable. I can leave my pets and home each day knowing Amy will be here-- and that my home, my dog and even my cats have a friend and protector that we depend on to stay safe, healthy and happy. My dog loves her walks with Amy and I couldn't be happier we found Amy. Michelle C.
