We hired this company for an apartment clean out before moving. We agreed on a time and date, but the apartment became vacant early. We offered earlier dates and they picked one that was convenient for them and us. We asked for an 8:00am start so that afternoon classes could be attended. I warned told them clearly why we needed that specific start time. They said okay. The day of the appointment, they contacted us at the start time and said they would be delayed by hours. Sure enough, the cleaning went later than the original schedule and my daughter missed an important class at the college she is attending. We were clearly frustrated and will not be hiring them again.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the deep cleaning service. After 6.5 hours, several areas I would expect to be included in a deep clean were still untouched, including the top of the refrigerator, ceiling fan blades, oven door, floor vents, and bathroom vent.

More upsetting, an important and irreplaceable keepsake was broken during the cleaning.

There was also a significant communication barrier. The cleaner did not speak English, and although we used a translation app, communication was difficult. I don’t fault the cleaner personally, but our deep cleaning request was made in English through Thumbtack, and I believe the company should have ensured the scope of work was clearly communicated.

Given the unfinished cleaning, broken keepsake, and communication issues, I unfortunately cannot recommend this service.
