We are an older retired couple, so we have Steve take care of all of our home maintenance needs. In the past he has done many different jobs for us, including fixing our basement when we had water damage & needed the damage tore out & refinished. When the work was done, the room looked better than when the original contractor built the house & we could not even tell that any flood damage had occurred. He has also done many other Handyman jobs for us including fixing our sump pump, changing out toilet flush valves & caulking around our toilets & showers, replaced our kitchen faucet, weather stripping our doors, hanging carbon monoxide/smoke detectors, re-leveling or patio pavers, roof snow removal & even some basic appliance repair on our microwave & deep freeze. When I purchased older home built in the 60s in Minnetonka as an investment property needing major renovations I hired Steve based upon a referral from a fellow investor friend, as my Primary source to handle the renovations and updating. The house was older and in need of much work, much more than I could have tackled on my own. Steve and his crew handled an enormous amount of the work themselves, and when there was a need to hire other licensed contractors for plumbing, electrical and foundation repair he got me references to some very reliable and affordable people to do the job. Steve was a major asset to me, he allowed me to work alongside his crew, and he took the time to advise me when I had questions as to how things should be done, which was invaluable to me as a DIY homeowner. He also has years of experience in construction and real estate so he was able to advise me on ways to save money and help me make a profit, along with other ideas for things that would help with the marketability and desirability to a new buyer. As investor who has invested in a number of homes in the past it was refreshing to work with somebody who knew what they were doing, got the job done right and got the job done affordably. Steve did an amazing job painting two rooms and installing a ceiling fan. It took about two days to complete the job. Steve took the time to prepare the walls, advised on the best paint to use and made sure the job was perfect. Steve's cleaned up, re-installed all the outlets and curtains, it was great work! If I need someone to paint again, Steve is at the top of the list.

We hired Steve for our kitchen remodel. The work he did was outstanding. Superb job on scraping the popcorn ceiling into a nice flat smooth ceiling. He knocked down a supporting wall and installed new support beam and redid all the drywall, which people have commented on nice drywall work. Added 10 canned lighting in the kitchen and living room. Installed all our new appliances. The man does it all. Steve is also very dependable. He came and met with the delivery guys when we were out of town. A positive experience with Steve. Ume kulberg
