- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard pricing in my opinion does not exist when it comes to painting due to all of the variables. Wall texture, products that would be best to use, the prep to get the surface ready to paint, the color that is existing and the color you have chosen. I find it to benefit my clients financially to bid per project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I am contacted I prefer to visit the location of the project and personally meet with whom is in charge of making the decisions in the painting process. This allows me to visually see the starting point and better understand where the final project needs to be. I submit an estimate by email. We will discuss dates that work into your schedule so when you receive the estimate I can confirm 3 blocks of time to have your project completed. If you approve it is as simple as clicking a button online. I will set a time with you to go over all information and your project will go underway:)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am very active in many paint shows. This offers me the ability to stay current with trends, New finishes, and pricing. Although there is no college course to become a painter, There is so much to know, understand and put forth when you are a painter. I take several hours to update myself regularly on the current products on the market as well as techniques. I have a passion for creativity, home improvement and customer service so the information to be obtained and perfected is limitless.
