FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is all based on time and material. That is always what I'm taking into consideration when coming up with a price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk with them on the phone first. Many times I can give a quote for interior jobs over the phone. After the initial conversation, I like to meet with the customer in person to look at their project. I don't do any sort of fancy sales pitch. I just want to make sure I understand their concerns. In the end I send a detailed scope of work many times this has diffrent options and prices. I let people take their time on deciding the best course of action. Once we have agreed on the scope of work to be done I call or stop by with my calendar and schedule the job. I ask for a deposit of 50-75% of the total amount when work begins. On some larger jobs a smaller deposit is allowed and other payments are made throughout of project. The balance is due when the work is done.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Comercial painting was the first trade I ever learned. I started at a trade school when in high school. I recently graduated from seminary and then started this company.
