Ben Erickson, Owner, has been practicing Landscape Architecture in the Twin Cities for over 16 years, first learning the ropes at the office of CLOSE Landscape Architecture until opening b.e landscape designs in 2012. We do commercial as well as residential projects and as of 2017, b.e. landscape designs offers installation as part of its scope of services, so give us a call and let us know how we can help out with your next project. Ben designed the plan that we had in mind. It was an unique situation ...a sloping floor in a storage area below an addition that was done years ago. The soil was excavated until we had a flat floor. Then they did landscape block work. Carlos and his crew were great. Carlos checked in with us each day to ask us if we had any concerns. The job was done in a timely manner!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My first consultation is always free. After the initial meeting I will respond to the client with any fee for design or installation.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would first reach out to the client to see when we could meet to look at, and discuss the scope of the project and any details about the site. After that I would go back and come up with a price for design (if necessary) or installation of the work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of MN. I am also licensed by the state of MN to practice in that state.
