Perfect!!! Amazing!!! Totally set the tempo for our day!!! My daughter needed stage makeup for dance and I didn't want her over made up. Naseem knew exactly what to do and my daughter looked and felt amazing. We are already going to book for next year!!! Naseem was on time and totally professional. She was a gem!Dec 2, 2014Verified

Naseem did my makeup for a photoshoot. I usually don't wear much makeup, and Naseem made me look fabulous and photo-ready, but I still felt completely like myself. Unlike a lot of makeup artists, she doesn't completely cement over your bad features, but instead softens them while accentuating your good features. She was fun to work and talk with, and did a great job of educating me on the products and techniques she was using. I couldn't reccomend her more highly.Jun 25, 2014
Naseem helped me capture my desired look for my recent photoshoot used for my portfolio, website, and professional head shots. She was helpful at our trial run to make me feel comfortable with the ambiance, what to expect from our session, and explained some technique as well as color & product choices best fit for my skin. She ackowledged the imprtance of sanitation, and her station and brushes/applicators we are so well organized and clean. Then Naseem cleared her evening of my ohotoshoot to make sure the look was complete and helped touch my looks up between all my outfit changes. She was also a blast! It was just so fun and also very comforting to have her represent my make up look. I felt so pampered and glammed up :)Jan 27, 2015
I was introduced to Naseem by a friend when I was working on a modeling photo shoot. Naseem did an INCREDIBLE job with the model's makeup and she was very personable. She asked me questions like "what theme is this photo shoot?" to make sure she can create the right look. It was my first time working with her, and she was so easy to get along with! As we were both working, we were still holding up a great conversation. It shows that she is able to multitask while still having fun, and STILL do a fantastic job. I can tell Naseem is passionate about makeup. She even experiments with making her own makeup...I mean, that is SO COOL. I had a great experience with Naseem, and I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a makeup artist. She is truly extraordinary and one-of-a-kind! I look forward to working with her again in the future.Aug 2, 2014
I've always been a little apprehensive about makeup, and never wanted to go to makeup artists because it seems like, more often than not, you end up with heavy makeup. This was not how it was when I went to Naseem. She is a genius. Seriously. I was blown away. Not only did she first take me out shopping to find the right foundation for my skin, but she educated me on what exactly she was doing and talked me through each step so that it would help me in the future. She listened to my requests and when all was said and done, I was very pleasantly surprised when I looked in the mirror. Naseem's exceptional skills had enhanced my natural looks to an extent I'd never even thought possible. I highly recommend Naseem, no matter what your needs. She gets triple thumbs up.Jun 20, 2014
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My prices are flexible depending on what you need, but the range goes from $40 - $300+ depending on complexity, head count, and needs. I think fixed pricing structures are too rigid and too limiting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a motivated self learner in the industry, whether by reading books or perusing Reddit to gain inspiration and knowledge. Of course, the best way to learn things is by keeping engaged with an active community of likeminded practitioners and exchange ideas and information.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started a makeup blog back in February, which hit me like a ton of bricks out of nowhere. It is a hybridized personal project combining makeup and photography over the course of 365 days. A month into doing so, I realized quite clearly that I wanted to do makeup artistry as my career, and began making the right moves to position myself as such and grow into this industry.
