FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Real estate commissions are not one-size-fits-all. My fees are competitive and tailored to your situation — whether you're selling a $300K starter home or a $3M lake property, the value I bring should match the investment. I'm transparent about every cost, every fee, and every dollar in writing before you sign anything. For buyers, my services are typically paid by the seller through the listing agreement — but with recent industry changes around buyer agency, I walk every buyer through their options in plain English before we tour a single home.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every relationship starts with a short, no-pressure phone call to understand what you actually need. From there I'll send you a customized plan — for sellers, that means a current market analysis, a walk-through of your home with notes on what will help it sell faster, and a marketing strategy. For buyers, that means a deep dive on neighborhoods, financing options, and a list of homes worth touring. I don't believe in pressure tactics or pushy follow-ups. You decide the pace.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Real Estate Associate Broker with RE/MAX Results (MN License 40503429) AND a Licensed Home Builder in Minnesota — a rare dual qualification that lets me evaluate construction quality, flag likely inspection issues, and predict which updates will pay back at resale. Business Management degree from St. John's University. Certifications include EcoBroker, GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist), e-PRO, Quality Service Certified, and Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource. Forbes Real Estate Council member.
