- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our standard listing commission is based on a tiered system, but most clients pay less than 4.8 percent for a full-service listing. In addition, we do not charge a broker admin fee, unlike most other brokers in the Twin Cities (typically $300-500).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in mass communications, and completed my real estate education at Kaplan. I also have an active Minnesota building contractor license. While I don't work as a contractor for the general public, my wife and I restore old houses in the north metro, and it puts me in a strong negotiating position post-inspection for both buyers and sellers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was previously a VP for a national publishing conglomerate, left to become an entrepreneur in the marketing and design field and developed a passion for real estate while working with clients from large real estate brokerages in California, Florida, Georgia and other areas.
