Natlie W.

I have recorded a few singles at Quincy Street Studio in NE Minneapolis and plan to keep using them for my recording, production, and mixing needs! Johnny Syn is extremely patient, professional, humble, and easy to work with. He is a hidden talent in the Twin Cities for this type of work and offers awesome prices for the quality and attention to detail he gives to every project. His experience as a gigging and recording musician helped me feel more comfortable in the space. He lays out transparent processes, timelines, and dope production ideas. There are a lot of music studios in the Twin Cities and this is not one of the high-end boujee establishments that charge way too much for a mediocre product. These are talented musicians and technicians putting their heart into every project for a fair price. Love working with Quincy Street Studio -- thanks you guys!!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We provide hourly and project pricing.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Talk through goals and desired outcomes, seek to understand more about how you like to work, create a vibe and personalized recording session(s), heavy collaboration in the mixing process with feedback cycles.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have been musicians and recording engineers since we were lads who could barely mow lawns to buy gear. We are all musicians with experience recording various genres, types of bands/artists, and treat each band/artist as individuals while bringing our collective experience to the table.
