Mike and his team removed the carpet in my laundry/closet room, and replaced it with travertine tile over a heated electric floor. They unassembled a closet system, removed carpet/pad, removed washer/dryer, installed the heated floor, then tile floor, and replaced the closet system and washer/dryer perfectly. Mike did a great job going over the estimate with me, and the final price was exactly what we agreed. The work was excellent! I wish my other tiled rooms looked as good. Hire him if you can. Mike and his workers are very professional and nice guys too.

Michael's team is the one you want when quality matters. I recently hired him to install new backsplash in our kitchen. I am a detail orientated person and have high quality standards in my line of work and appreciated that Michael has the same mindset. I had initially hired another contractor from Thumbtack and had to send them home after two days because they were doing such a sloppy job. With Michael I felt at ease and knew he cared about doing a great job rather than waving things off. He also let me know I had bought the wrong size schluter and it would create a gap I might not like - I expect a less exacting contractor would have just used the schluter I had and not said anything. Having someone who points out things like this is priceless. He and Lacey arrived on time each day and stayed until the job was done. They cleaned up after themselves and had all the right tools to ensure there was no drywall or other dust flying around the house - unlike the other crew.

I have been a custom home builder for 40 years in South Carolina. Michael is one of the best tile setters I have ever come across. I had 3 different tile installers working on my project all very good. Michael was head and shoulders above the others. Absolutely outstanding! An added bonus was the fact that he spoke excellent English. He is a pleasure to work with.

I needed a tile setter for a 1200 square foot floor tile replacement as well as two complete bathroom remodels. The bath tile work consisted of two showers, floor and baseboard tile as well as vanity backsplash tile. Let me start by saying that I am rarely happy with hired work. Michael and his assistants Lacey, and Scott were truly a gem to work with. This was a large project squeezed into a tight timeframe and I am not a local resident so the coordination prior to the project beginning was very important to the success of the project. Michael's workmanship and attention to detail is amazing. Discussions along the way regarding what seemed to be minor design ideas and potential changes from what I had in mind had a huge impact on the overall character and look of the final product that I couldn't be happier with. I also feel that Truly German Stone & TIle rates were more than fair. When the glass company came to measure/install the shower enclosure, the technician took Michael's contact info for his personal use as he stated that the walls, curbs, etc, were the truest he'd ever seen. High praise from someone who sees the competitions work. I would definitely hire them again.
