FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For personal training, there are packages that can be purchased for individual training or small group personal training. Those are discussed with the first consultation, which is free.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Wanting to get fit and healthy after being extremely obese, I moved towards a healthier lifestyle. People would ask me to help them with modifications, then I was approached about becoming an instructor. I believed that to be a good instructor, you also should have additional education and training, be able to talk to people about their anatomy, physiology, and healthy living choices. So I became a certified personal trainer. I started my experience with working for a company as their employees' personal trainer, then went on to do more, open my own studio, be hired by other companies to also help their employees. Since then I have obtained several credentials and training.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
From 13-74; already fit & active athletes, runners, etc. to people that have experienced a joint replacement, therapy for injuries, or just finding the loss of lean muscle, bone strength, endurance, and want recapture or learn how to recover and maintain a healthier body as they mature. We have trained some that were preparing for events such as Warrior Dashes and marathons and have had college students train with us to become better or increase their performance in sports. Along with that, we have seen more people resigning from some activities that are getting to be too hard on their bodies.
