The unique, interesting, and educational experiences we have with each person that comes through our door. We find inspiration daily in working with each person whether it be with personal training or in group fitness. It is so satisfying to assist people seeking and learning more about how to be fitter and healthier.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have drop in & session rates for group fitness classes. For personal training, there are packages that can be purchased for individual training or small group personal training. Those are discussed with the first consultation, which is free.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nearly every week I spend time researching and reviewing updates about fitness and our industry. Additionally, I annually attend a fitness conference to refresh skills, refine skills, and learn new information to share or apply in my business.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
A personal journey of becoming healthier, fitter, leaner and not having available resources in our area to ask questions or obtain guidance. Though each persons experiences are different, ultimately it comes down to understanding the position a person is in that hasn't been fit, trim, and injury free their entire life. Additionally, understanding that our maturing populations including the tail end of the baby boomers are not sedentary. They want to keep moving, stay fit & healthy, and lead active lives.
What types of customers have you worked with?
From already fit & active athletes, runners, etc. to people that have experienced a joint replacement, therapy for injuries, or just finding the loss of lean muscle, bone strength, endurance, and want recapture or learn how to recover and maintain a healthier body as they mature. We have trained some that were preparing for events such as Warrior Dashes and marathons and have had college students train with us to become better or increase their performance in sports. Along with that, we have seen more people resigning from some activities that are getting to be too hard on their bodies, such as Running, for an example.
