I think it says a lot about someone who is being paid to do a job when they’re willing to tell you to make a less expensive decision. I was thinking I’d need 2-3 more cameras than we ended up with, and he came up with a strategy that got me the same coverage I wanted with fewer, better placed cameras, which saved me hundreds in cable runs, install costs, and hardware.
After the initial planning visit, Adam stayed in close contact with me as we discussed various options, hardware, and timing. Once we landed on the final strategy, we settled on a multiple phase approach. This week we completed phase 1 which ran the temporary fiber to the garage and installed the first 2 cameras, garage switch, and connected it to the network backbone. The install was completed beautifully, it looks clean and professional, the cables are managed meticulously, and cleaned up so well it was like he was never there. He even had those cameras aimed 100% perfectly where I wanted them without even seeing the feed yet.
I am looking forward to our next phase when we get some warmer weather for running the rest of the cameras and cables, and then trenching / burying the fiber in the spring!"See more
