I needed some embroidery done on a sweatshirt. It turned out PERFECT! And they were fast!Oct 26, 2016Verified
WOW! Tom was in contact with me very quickly following my Thumbtack search for a local embroidery company. We worked out the details and started the project that day. He met our short production deadline for our TV shoot and we are thrilled with the quality of the logo on our shirts. Thank you!Apr 26, 2016Verified
Tom and Barb were outstanding to work with. The quality of work is unmatched, and the attention they paid to my needs was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Timely Expressions for your embroidery needs.Aug 2, 2016Verified
We needed a one-off embroidery (which is not easy to find) for one customer jacket. Service was excellent, given we had layers of approvals/changes. I would use Timely Expressions again next year for the same purpose. Also, the cost was very reasonable.Jan 4, 2016Verified
I was able to drop off and pick up my embroidery the same day. It was great quality work and customer service.Oct 9, 2015Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Generally we charge a base of $10 for mounting an item which includes the first 10,000 stitches. After the first 10,000 we charge $1 per 1,000 stitches. If you have a design that needs to be digitized we will do that for somewhere between $30 and $60 depending on the complexity. Most basic logos are done at the $30 price. If you have large quantities where the stitch count is low and the mounting is simple we have been known to negotiate lower pricing. However many of our projects are one or two items. We like those! But yes, we will do the larger quantities as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? For new customers we always like to have at least a phone conversation but better yet, a face to face meeting. Embroidery is very personal and getting a feel of what our customer wants, letting them pick things like exact font, colors, designs, placement is very important.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We have been doing embroidery for almost 20 years now, both as a hobby and professionally. Barb spent a number of years working in a retail operation which sold and trained in embroidery. Tom had digitized numerous items for both personal use (got a number of grand kids that have shirts, blankets, etc. with grandpa's custom digitization) as well as business use. We are ready to take on just about any project!
