HORRIBLE Experience!! Please avoid them. FRAUDSTERS. Foster Nixon of Clean Masters took me for a complete ride. I don't even know where to start how bad this guy and his "so-called" company is: 1. He was supposed to replace drywall after mitigating mold. But without finishing it, he lied to me saying he was "done" with his work. When asked about it in detail, he said he covered it with some fire-resistant material. Unfortunately, I could only check it properly after he drove away with my check (which was already my 3rd installment of payment to him). Because he cleverly played a game of already being outside in the parking lot and said he was really getting late for another job, so he needed me to pay up before I go in and verify. When asked about why it was left unfinished, he said he will come back with some fire-resistant material instead of drywall because he was unable to get the drywall there. But he never showed up again, he stopped answering my calls or texts. 2. For almost a week, he kept coming to the spot everyday pretending to work on the drywall and kept assuring me that he would get it done. He told me stories about how complicated it was and all that. I figured it was all BS, once I hired a bunch of other guys to put the drywall back who did it for far cheaper and quicker. That's when I realized this guy and his company is a FRAUD. 3. Noticing that I started trusting everything he said, he ended up charging me $2000+ in the end while initially giving an estimate that he will get everything done within $900. After I went through his invoice and caught his fraud to some extent, he apologized for overcharging the painting-square-footage area. I have multiple versions of Invoices from them, after I was catching each of their fraud line items on the invoice. I was still ok to pay him since I did not want any trouble with him. Until I realized that even the work he said he finished was not true. 3. Plus, He ruined my working AC, with the excuse of having "cleaned" it so he could charge me additional for that. He initially said he himself knew how to deal with ACs. Then he said he had an "AC Guy" come over. He even charged me additional for that. But whatever they did, they screwed up a perfectly-working AC with the pretense of fixing a leak in the AC. I had to spend far more additional expense with a proper AC repair guy to fix what these guys ruined. 4. He is the most disorganized and clumsy guy I'd ever worked with. He'd be late every single day and would forget the keys to my vacant condo every single day. For which I had to drive in to let him in. Not to mention the one time he even locked himself out and I had to drive there just to let him in (having been there already twice). 5. His paint job was horrible. He did not even know to tape the trim while painting in some spots. Paint is spilled over the trim in many spots. He was supposed to texture-paint on one side of the drywall, which he did not. 6. Without me even asking, he claimed he will touch-up the door stain/paint, and ended up patching a color other than white, which ended up making the doors look shabby. This was not even something I asked for. He just ruined my door's paint out of his negligence. 7. There was also some family drama going on too. Something going on between him and whoever supposedly was the owner of Clean Masters. A lady (I think his wife or girlfriend) claiming to own Clean Masters texted me saying this Foster Nixon was trying to steal money from her company because they had a fight. Everything seemed shady with these guys. 8. He took away all the switch plates saying he will give me new ones (again I did not even ask for this) but never did. 9. He also did something odd with the AC vent which was causing a rattling sound, which too, I had to pay extra to an AX repair guy to get fixed. I will soon be uploading photos of all the damage he did and all the things he left unfinished. I have already reported him to Thumbtack and will be following up with them until action is taken on this company.
