I have 14 years in the business and continue to take pride in my work. We also do a wide range of services for residential customers almost everything to do with a residential home. Josh did a great job! Plus he is very nice. He did a lot of work on our old house that needed a lot of rewiring. I initially called someone before Josh and got a really high bid so then I looked for someone else to see if I really needed to pay that much. Josh's bid came in thousands less. Thousands! He worked all day at my house and fixed all of the electrical problems. He actually did more than what was in the job he wrote up on the bid but didn't charge me more money. I am really happy to have discovered him and will always have him do any electrical work at my house. I highly recommend!

Checked all our outlets and electrical panel was able to correct a intermittent power outage and also checked all our wiring at the box and found that many wires where worn and corrected by cutting and replacing wires. Fantastic service.

He was on time and had his apprentice with him. So they both did some of the projects. He was very friendly and did quality work. I also was able to get his opinion on a future project before he left. I likely will hire again for my next electrical project. The work performed was: install ceiling fan, kitchen chandelier on vaulted ceilings, add two dimmer light switches and raise up an outlet.
I couldn’t be happier with the work done by Great Midwest Electric. It turns out it helps to have a licensed electrician to electrical work! We hired a handyman to replace ceiling fans and they caused a power outage. Great Midwest not only corrected the power issue, but also re-attached the fans and checked all the connections, and put in another outlet in our hallway. I will be going back to use Great Midwest for any future issues!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do offer a 5% discount to all military, police officers, firefighters, health care workers and first responders as our part to say thank you for everything you do.
We just need some form of ID to show us you are one of these Hero’s thank you.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to introduce ourselves and get all the info we need to collect to help the customer out. We also strive to do the best we can to make sure our customers are happy and stay happy with our workmanship.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I Josh Nelson have 14 years of experience with new home electrical construction, everything residential, I’ve done years of electrical service work for both commercial and residential. Also experience with commercial builds as well commercial retro fitting lighting
