From my first conversation with Erik Nelson (the owner/operator), I just had a feeling he was going to get the contract to do our fence work.
My wife and I hired a landscaping company (Barrett Lawn Care) to do some re-grading, to modify an area of our yard. We also wanted 150 feet of privacy fencing along the property line. Barrett doesn't do fencing, so I called several companies and asked for a site visit, and an estimate. I was surprised that 2 of them said they weren't interested.
Another well known company I called agreed to meet me, and discuss the project. Two fence heights were discussed, and when I got the estimate, it was hard to understand. When the estimate was explained to me, I had *sticker shock* at the price. I was left feeling frustrated and very disappointed. That's when I asked the landscape company (Barrett) if they knew anyone that builds fences. Their Project Designer suggested I contact Cool People Who Build Fences. Best move ever!
Erik met with me several times to discuss the layout options for the fence. He showed me material samples, and his estimate was easy to understand, and priced right. He said he could coordinate his work with the landscapers and our time schedules. We accepted his estimate, and work began soon afterwards. We were lucky because all the materials were in stock, and available for delivery. Erik and his crew went to work, and all I can say is that they did a fantastic job from start to finish! Each day they explained what they were going to do, and asked if we had any questions or concerns. At the end of the day, the site was cleaned up. All debris was removed from our property. The workers were very friendly and polite...just like their name says, Cool People.
When the job was done, I stood at both ends of the L-shaped fence, and looked down the length of the fence. I was amazed at how straight it was! To say I was *pleased* would be an understatement.
This company should get 2 or 3 additional stars from the maximum allowed by the review. We're very happy with the work Erik did for us, and I'd recommend them to everyone that needs fence work.
