What types of customers have you worked with?
Brand makeovers, logo designs and redesigns, marketing materials, print collateral, websites, and advertising.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make certain you get an estimate and overview of the design process upfront ÃÂ don't go by hourly rate alone. Sometimes a less experienced designer requires many more hours on a project, and can end up costing more in the long run. Predetermined deadlines and check-ins are crucial for a new client relationship ÃÂ I want my clients to always be certain where they are in the design process and what's coming next.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Graphic design is both a technical skill and and art it's not something just anyone who owns the tools can do. There is a lot of technical skill that goes into creating a finished design whether print or web. I often get paid to fix things someone else has done for a bargain rate. It would be easier for client just to get the work done right the first time.
