FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For most general repairs and maintenance, I work on an hourly basis. My rate starts at $60 per hour for standard labor, and I bring my own professional tools to ensure the job gets done efficiently and correctly. If the job requires specific materials (like new fixtures, lumber, or specialized parts), those are billed separately. I don't mark up materials—you just pay for what is used.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
try to keep it very simple. First, you tell me what’s broken—sending a picture usually helps. If it’s something within my wheelhouse, I’ll let you know my hourly rate and give you a ballpark idea of how long it will take. On the day of the job, I show up with all my own tools and get right to work. I don't mark up materials, so you just pay for my labor time and the cost of any parts. Once I'm done, we check it together to make sure you're happy, and that's it!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
10 Years as a Mechanic and Auto Worker: This decade taught me the importance of precision, reliability, and diagnosing problems right the first time. I apply that same meticulous attention to detail to every fix, from a leaky faucet to a door that won't close. 3 Years in Local Property Management: Working closely with local owners has given me deep experience in handling the diverse and urgent needs of residential properties. I know what needs to be fixed quickly and efficiently to maintain property value and tenant satisfaction.
