Introduction: With my ability to put folks at ease in front of the camera, I find that the true character of a subject or client is more readily revealed, which always results in a more satisfying set of photographs. Pretty much everyone I have ever photographed has been important and fascinating, no one any more so than the next. For my senior pictures I wanted something different than the traditional ones, and they turned out even better than I imagined! Richard was great at getting to know me and what exactly I wanted, and had some great ideas artistically for the photos with my french horn especially. He put a lot of time and effort into making sure I was getting the pictures I wanted!

My process involves talking with a client before I shoot anything.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hire a professional photographer with experience, the same as you would with a dentist, a plumber, a tax accountant, a lawyer, or any other professional. If you are paying for the service, you do not want an amateur or hobbyist. "Cheaper" is rarely better.
