- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My shop charge is $75/hour plus materials, with a minimum of one hour. All work will have to be carried out in my metals or wood shop, located 5 minutes south of downtown St Paul.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I appreciate if clients could send drawings or photos of their needs: If your kitchen table needs a new weld because a table leg busted—please send a photo so I can provide you with a fair quote. If you're looking for an table base to go with a butcher block top you just purchased, please send a quick drawing with dimensions (height x width x depth).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Numerous classes at St Paul Technical College, 15 years as working as a fabricator at the Science Museum of Minnesota, twenty years of fabrication in my own metalworking shop, and a whole lifetime of woodworking.
