I have some mobility issues and cannot carry things easily. My house needed a lot of clothing weeded out and general organizing. Mandy and Katie worked very hard to make it so much better. Plus, they are kind and funny and easy to have around. Dressing is now like shopping in my closet - actually the dressing room they made from my spare bedroom. Katie is obsessive about tidy folding and color arranging. Mandy works hard at getting everything to work better. I am now choosing to slowly move some things to more functional groups - like all my cold weather turtleneck and mock-neck layer tops in one drawer, rather than mixed in with other tops, but I am trying to maintain the color sort for the sheer pleasure of how good the drawers look. I am also putting towels back in the bathroom, but it is so easy to pull them out of the hall linen closet. My only suggestion would be to listen more to the client on preferences like that, and share it with your work partner. If you need a better organized home and a mood lift, go with these folks. They are worth it.

These women are amazing! I have never seen such energetic people! They are so organized ... one tour of the disater area and they had a plan. Your job is to make wise decisions ... if you don't "use it, need it, or love it" (and you probably don 't), get rid of it. They recycle and donate everything that is in decent condition ...they are sincerely dedicated to this effort. And best of all, by the end of the 4 days I didn't feel like we were company and client ... I felt like we were friends.

Mandy and Peggy were like surgeons in an operating room ! They literally brought me back to life ! They were so amazing, it is hard to express my gratitude for helping me get my chaos and mess cleaned up and super organized !! Being in a masters graduate program and many of life’s challenges left me completely overwhelmed and feeling defeated to the point I gave up even trying to do anything and lived in so much clutter my mind couldn’t even find peace when I would come home ! What they did for me is gave me a calm peaceful place to come home to and that means the world ! I can’t recommend them highly enough!!!! I was embarrassed my house got in such a mess and they weren’t judge mental and assured me they could help ! They gave me my life back and I’m excited to come home and be home now that it is clean and so well organized ! The value of what they have back to me was well worth the cost ! I am DEFINITELY calling them again in spring to help me organize all the stuff in my garage since I moved it has much that hasn’t been unpacked ! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is for TWO people who can get the job done twice as fast! (And make it more fun.) We do free estimates that include a breakdown of time and costs for labor.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to schedule a 20-30 minute [free] video consultation before booking an organizing job. This can be done on FaceTime, Meet, Zoom or any preferred platform. This gives us a chance to meet each other, answer/ask questions, and see the space(s). From there we can give an estimate on time predicted for the project and the costs associated with it. When we arrive, we do short review of the space and plan. Then, we get right to business and get the organizing started.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Awesome Organizing is professional organizing business that was dreamt up in 2019, but we've been decluttering [for fun] since we were best friends starting in the 7th grade! We now have over 15 collective years worth of organizing experience.
