Introduction: Peggy Thomsen, MSW, LICSW, is a child therapist serving families in the Twin Cities. Her expertise are adoption issues, attachment, building healthy family relationships, anxiety, and depression. People, young and old, do best when they are connected to others in close healthy relationships. Clients appreciate her knowledge of normal child development and suggestions for strategies that often result in rapid positive movement. Play therapy is used to help children express difficult emotions. Adults with a history of childhood trauma or stress find understanding and healing.
