FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Learning is the number one item of business at Murza Construction! One must consistently educate themselves in order to be competitive in this industry. There are a number of ways we do this, aside from the best kind of learning--from every day situations, as we are growing each and every year. Attending courses in storm restoration techniques, managing new and different obstacles, and staying up to date with current trends in the industry is a very big part of what we do at Murza Construction. We hold weekly meetings solely devoted to product information, technology of new and better exterior systems, and changes to products we use currently. Any General Contractor will tell you that you are required to attend a set number of hours of continuing education in your field to maintain your license, but at Murza Construction, we seize every single opportunity to be current on all things construction. This involves workshops and seminars provided by companies manufacturing the products we use, and by our suppliers. All certifications must be kept current as well from year to year (lead certification, VSI certification, shingle installer certifications, etc.). Most importantly however, is that if you aren't learning from your competition and previous experience, you really aren't learning at all. Careful consideration is taken by listening to what past clients mention, and what, if anything, could be different. If you aren't in tune with these two aspects, all the rest is irrelevant.
