Dog training type
Board and train at a facility
Danielle is the first dog trainer we have talked to who is genuinely focused on helping improve our dog's behavior. You can yell it is her passion! The others we spoke with were pushing expensive training packages and were focused on the money. I would highly recommend Danielle.Dec 29, 2017
My English mastiff is a puppy but what she taught her was exactly as I had expected. Very very knowledgeable about training dogs!!!! Would definitely use her againOct 31, 2017Verified
We were very happy with her knowledge and information. We like the treat training, our dogs have been very responsive and are learning quickly.Aug 5, 2017Verified
We were given training on how to handle our dog.. Since it has been a short while we don't know if it is working yet.Sep 2, 2016Verified
Dog Training - Board and Train
We sent our 2 10 month old sisters to Danielle for a month. Cost a lot. Got the girls' back....Very unhappy. First of all treat-training sucks!! Unless everyone you know has a bag of treats, it does not work. My dogs are now worse than before...they even pee and poop in the house!!! They were fully housebroken when they left for training. We sent the girls' due to one of them escaping our yard. Within 24 hours of return, the very same (supposedly trained) dog escaped!! Danielle never came to our house for training, which I would consider necessary. Do not use Bravo K9 for puppies.....maybe sports-training already trained dogs.😬Apr 28, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing is based on the type of service needed. I offer consults through email or over the phone for free to get to know you and your dog and to decide what is most needed. Further pricing is available on my website.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am working towards many dog training certifications at this time and continue to take classes myself, attend seminars, and subscribe to journals to keep up to date on the latest theories and methods.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started off working in shelters, getting to know a lot about behavior in dogs and how they learned. My own dog at the time had many behavioral problems, so I took the time to teach myself how to work through those problems, via web articles, videos, and books. When we accomplished our goals and I was able to fix his behavior, I realized that was something I wanted to be able to help many other people accomplish with their dogs, to keep their dogs in happy, healthy homes, and keep dogs out of shelters whenever possible.
